My car will not start — is it the battery?
A jump answers that in about a minute. If it fires up and keeps running, you are on your way. If it dies again as soon as we disconnect, the battery or the alternator is finished and we will get you to a shop.
Is jump starting safe on a newer vehicle?
It is when it is done right. Correct polarity, correct connection points and proper equipment are exactly what protects the electronics in a modern car, and that is how we do it.
